Franklin Volunteer Fire Department Annual Fireman's Parade
June 10, 2010 - Franklin, WV
The members of the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department would like to invite your organization to participate in our annual Fireman’s Parade on Thursday, June 10, 2010. The parade will line-up at 6:00pm across from Fireside Café (formerly Thompson’s Restaurant), near the intersection of US Route 33 and US Route 220. The parade will begin to move at 7:00pm and will follow Main Street to the Pendleton County Court House. Pre-registration is not necessary, units will be lined up in the order in which they arrive. We invite you to throw candy to the spectators. If you attend our parade, we will make every attempt to attend yours. Siren use will be permitted.
Trophies will be awarded to the following categories:
Best Appearing Fire Department
Best Appearing Ambulance
Fire Department Traveling Longest Distance
The winners will be announced at the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department Carnival Grounds after the conclusion of the parade. Thank you in advance for helping us to make this annual event a continued success. Everyone is
welcome to stay for the carnival.
