Commercial building fire:   Clarksburg
A fire broke out in a commercial building near Clarksburg Blue Print in Clarksburg Tuesday night.

Firefighters arrived at the Milford Street fire around 6:00p.m.

Smoke could be seen billowing into the air from a distance and flames shot out of the top floor windows.

There were initial reports that someone was trapped in the building, but firefighters say they did not find anyone.

Police shut down the street while firefighters spent nearly and hour knocking down the flames.

They say it was especially tough to fight because of the way the building was built.

Witnesses say there were no fire escapes from the top floor of the building.

This incident occured in Harrison County.
