| Early morning house fire: Mabscott |
|
Crews were called out to an early morning house fire Thursday in Raleigh County.
According to emergency services, a house in Mabscott caught fire shortly after 3 a.m. The fire was on Spruce Street at the intersection of Chestnut Street. Mabscott and Beaver fire departments both responded. Mabscott Fire Department cleared the scene four hours later. Emergency Services says no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. This incident occured in Raleigh County. |

| Arson investigation underway at saloon fire: Salt Rock |
|
An arson investigation is underway after a business fire earlier this morning.
The fire happened just after eight Thursday morning at the Soft Tail Saloon in Salt Rock. Sheriff's deputies say witnesses saw a man wearing a ski mask jump out of a gold minivan run behind the building and then run back to the minivan. The van was last spotted heading south on Route 10 toward Lincoln County. Cabell County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's department. This incident occured in Cabell County. |
